DISCOVERED - EARLY MODEL 5056 GAPERS, AS WORN BY MIRKO BIANCHIN
FINE EXAMPLE OF THE LIMITED RUN 5056 WESTERN GAPER MODEL PRODUCED IN LATE 2004.THIS RAN FOR 2 SEASONS ONLY.INCORPORATING UNUSUAL IN-SEAM FRONT POCKETS , THIS MODEL ALSO HAD THE "FIFTH" POCKET ON THE OUTSIDE LEFT LEG WHICH CAME IN HEART FORM & THE VICTORIAN BACK STRAP IN UNSHAVED LEATHER.
THE IJIN MATERIAL WESTERN "GAPERS" GOT THEIR NAME FROM THE WAY IN WHICH THE POCKET OPENED WHEN THEY WERE WORN.THE POCKET IS ACTUALLY CONSTRUCTED AS WOULD BE A "CONTROVENTO" STYLE POCKET WITH THE TOP FABRIC PIECE COVERING THE POCKET ENTRANCE.
THIS WOULD KEEP THE RAIN OUT ALSO.
NOTE THE DOUBLE OVER EMBROIDERED "HALF-MAN" LOGO - SEWN IN 2 SHADES OF EGG YOLK SIZE 25 THREAD.

BEAUTIFUL "SEASONED" BACK RIGHT POCKET , CLEARLY SHOWING THE IMPRINT LEFT BY THE HIDDEN RED TAG SEWN INTO EVERY IJIN MATERIAL DENIM LEG.
BACK LEFT POCKET WITH WEAR HOLE , SHOWING THE BIG 1 & 1/2 INCH LOWER POCKET SEAMS.NOTE POCKET UN TRADITIONALLY FACES THE OUTER SEAM.
